One measurement standard links every match to the training ground, so rehab and testing are judged against the demands players actually face in competition.

Which physical outputs can staff review after a match?

Distance and high-speed running, speed and acceleration profiles, Significant Turns, peak demand periods, match context such as possession and phase of play, and wellness indicators, depending on your package.

When are match outputs available?

Typically within one to two hours of the final whistle.

What match baseline is needed for rehab analysis?

Rehab sessions are compared with the player's own match profile from matches recorded before the injury. Without match history, testing can build a baseline.

Which movement assessments are supported?

Linear and curved sprints, change-of-direction tests such as the 505 and 90° and 180° turns, and deceleration tests.

Can several athletes be assessed in one session?

Yes. The sensor records every athlete in its coverage area at the same time, so a whole squad can be tested together.

What is a Significant Turn?

A deceleration greater than 2 m/s², followed within one second by an acceleration greater than 2 m/s², with a change of direction of at least 20°. Each one is recorded with entry speed, exit speed, angle, side and peak braking. See the glossary.

Can Sportlight determine whether a player is ready to return?

No. Qualified staff make that decision. Sportlight gives them objective evidence of how the player is moving, compared with the player's own match demands.
